B-2 AFM
The B2- Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) is designed for educators who want to teach students about AFM operation and applications.
The B2-AFM includes everything you need to start scanning: stage, computer, electronics, probes, and a reference standard. For a greater variety of applications and projects, it's easy to add on options and modes at the time of purchase or at anytime in the future. The unique universal probe holder enables freedom in purchasing probes from the widest variety of vendors so as not to constrain your budget to expensive purchases from proprietary vendors.
TT-2 AFM
This compact, high-resolution tabletop Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) is a very robust and small footprint AFM that is suitable for both teaching and for student research projects. The TT-2 AFM has been used by thousands of students around the world and helped launch many aspiring careers in research and in education.
The TT-2 includes a stage, control electronics, probes, reference standard, and a video optical microscope. The TT-2 can be enhanced at time of purchase or at anytime in the future with a wide variety of modes and options, and has several sizes of scanners that can easily be switched in and out. Educators can purchase probes from a wide variety of manufacturers due to our unique universal probe holder; you are not constricted to expensive purchases from proprietary vendors.
Unique within the AFM instrumentation fields, both The B2-AFM and the TT-2 AFM have an OPEN stage Light Lever. These means that students can visually actually see what’s happening as the AFM sample is being imaged. Visualizing the process is critical to understanding.
