Software

Software for Focus Assist is integrated with the AFMControl software used on the TT-2 AFM. Using the software is easy. Simply focus the optical microscope on the probe, and then on the sample. Once this registration is completed, you can use the software to move directly to the sample, to the probe, or you can even have the optic follow the probe during probe approach.

With Focus Assist it is possible to rapidly zoom into a speciffic area of a sample with extreme accuracy, facilitating highly successful scanning.

TT-2 XY Motorized Stage Option *

With this option, the sample can be moved in the X and Y axis under motor control. The option includes both the required hardware and software. The minimum step size is 1 micron.

Software for control of XY stage.

Motor Control Unit *

A microprocessor is used for controlling up to 12 stepper motors with the motor control unit. The base unit controls four motors, and two additional daughter boards control four motors each. The motor drivers are based on the STM chips so when the motors are activated, they do not make any sounds.
