The piezo scanner has motion sensors in the X and Y axis to assure accurate scanning. Industry standard micromachined probes are rapidly inserted into the light lever force sensor with the probe holder. The range of the Z stage used for probe approach is 1” and the step size of the motor is .4 microns. At the rear of the stage is the socket for a 60-pin ribbon cable that is used to provide power and I/O signals to the stage. |
